Untitled

Dawn breaks in a way only known to sea ice
	under a seasons change;
		Under the knife known by its edge;
			And nothing less;
				Slice; dear sun; and bring
					forth the day; Rapturous decline;
						Sleep.

But you will learn to love me;
	Fading into the light; All things revealed;
		Hope of the night; Obsidian dreams concealed; Survive;
			Push through: Embrace; Make right;
				She waits henceforth; As winter does;
					As a predator; Gift giver; So hunt, or hunted.

The night is her property;
	Tenancy leased and gifted; A mistress;
		Confined; Defined; Aligned; Inclined to
			worship; Breaking under the sun; Return.
				No end; Only pause as the wind does;
					As the ocean does;
						As we all do;

					And you will learn to love me.
