Wander, wonderer; Lose yourself;
Shed yourself like lizard skin
and bathe in the sun; Naked;
Revealed; Bereft of concern;
Jazz-like; Smoke drifting through
the air on a lazy Sunday, moved
only by the motion of lovers
steps.

Allow yourself the path; The road
less travelled; Be a shrike to the world;
Prickled thorns be not your enemy;
But aqua regia for the soul; Transmutation;
Lesser made whole by movement; Not destination;
Allow yourself the path less travelled;
And you will find distant lands of
song and splendour.

Embrace me, then; As a tree the sun;
As a leaf the crack of a boot; Natural;
Accepted; Inevitable like a lovers grip;
Like a rivers path; Like the grave; But bury
me shallow; So I may feel the rain upon
my skin.

And I do so love the touch of rain.
